While working for large Commonwealth Government agencies, Bronwynne experienced first hand the effects of uncertainty. Working on major corporate change programs for 10 years she created a unique set of skills that enable her to powerfully transform organizations.

In establishing LookOut Futuring Services in 1999, Bronwynne took up the challenge of bringing these skills - in communication, strategy and policy formulation, strategic planning and organisational design - to a wider range of organizations and the private sector.

Bronwynne understands the world as a complex adaptive system. Using this frame she encourages organizations to think deeply about what 'uncertainty' actually means to reconceive planning as navigation - a dynamic process of sensing and responding to that continually changing environment. As navigators in an uncertain future we can see opportunities and risks otherwise hidden. Our organizations take on a different shape, develop different skills, systems and infrastructure and do different things.
